Shake your tail feathers!

Hey everyone! Today I'm hopping along with group of wonderful ladies in honour of another wonderful lady, Jessica Knutsen. For those of your who follow There She Goes, you already know that Jessica is both our fearless leader and owner of the stamp company itself. If you didn't already know this then you do now ;) We are hopping today to have a little early birthday celebration for Miss Jessica! So because of your birthday Jessica, we want you to shake your tail feathers to celebrate :D

For this card I used the TSG - Zoo-Pendous set because I happen to think that this little peacock is both cheeky and adorable ;) I water coloured this fellow with my tombows and blended him out with a water brush and then I used my saffron re-inker to add a hint of colour in the background. I then added some details with my chalk pencils and finished it off with a little bit of sponging to the outside.

I followed along with the current sketch over at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (SSC159) and pulled our my My Mind's Eye papers to set the tone...but mostly because they were the only designer papers that I had that even remotely came close to matching my sweet little peacock ;)
