TSG145 Warm Birthday Wishes

I everyone! I thought that I would try something a little different today by channeling my inner Laurel Seabrook! :) I had a chance to meet this paper piecing diva last weekend when we traveled together to Washington State for a Pajama Crop with numerous other ladies from There She Goes, The Ribbon Carousel, iSpy Sketches and Sparkle Creations.

Laurel inspired this card because I was looking for a relatively quick birthday card and she managed to fly through her amazing creations while at the crop...so out came the patterned papers and away went the tombows. I used my Dance and Sentimental Birthday sets and paired them with my My Mind's Eye Fiddlesticks paper pad to create this card for the TSG145 sketch challenge.

What did I learn from re-visiting the paper piecing technique you may ask? I learned that it would have been a whole lot quicker to water colour those flowers! lol I'm glad that I did piece the flowers together though because I really love how the card turned out :)

Thanks for coming to visit me today and I will be back again on Friday with a new challenge card from iSpy Sketches :D
