Plenty of Perfect Plum

I have been a little behind with my blog posting this week and haven't anything new to show you today, so I thought that I would pull one of my older cards out of my files to show you. I made this card back in the summer to try out one of my new stamps that I purchased from out of town - gotta love taking new rubbah for a test drive!

I don't know what the flower is called so I took a guess at what colours to use for the stamp. I stuck some micro beads to the centers of the flowers for texture and used my Inkadinado and Baroque Motifs flourish to stamp all over my designer paper. I love ribbon charms, so I make my own with my shrink plastic and large Oval Punch.

I popped up some of the layers on this card with dimensionals and glitterfied (yep, I made a new word *snort*) up the Old Olive card stock with and abundance of Stickles....I {heart} Stickles! At the last minute I decided to add some Dew Drops and I am still pretending that they actually match the card! If you squint your eyes, cock your head a little to the left and use some imagination you will see too that the dew drops coordinate :) Sometimes crafting after midnight doesn't pay off too well when the sunlight hits your card and you notice that some of your wise colour choices the night before don't really match your card at all!

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Old Island Stamp Co. #446-F, Baroque Motifs, Inkadinkado
Paper: PTI White, Basic Black, Old Olive,Watercolour, K&CO DP, Daisy Bucket DP
Ink: Basic Black, Versa Mark, Perfect Plum, Old Olive, SU Markers
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Dew Drops, Taffeta Ribbon, Shrink Plastic, Jump Rings, Stickles, Micro Beads, Aqua Painter, Dimensionals, Sponges, Lg Oval Punch
