Pink Psalm 23

Have you been wondering where I have been? It's my grandmother's birthday tomorrow and I had a light bulb moment where I should make here a gift set of cards at the very last moment. Silly...OK, maybe stupid idea, I know! But I think that with a little last minute hard work and a few late nights that it actually turned out OK! But I'm not about to spoil my Gram's surprise, so you will just have to come back tomorrow night to see all the details *grin*

Before I head off to bed, I wanted to share with you my pretty pink Psalm 23 card using my Our Daily Bread Designs Psalm 23 stamp. I paired this stamp up with the flourish from one of my new Artful INKables sets and added a whole lotta chocolate....mmmm :)

This card was not spared when it came to getting a little (or a lot) of ink on it! I sponged the pink panels with different shades of browns as well as pretty in pink ink. The panel with the scripture on it actually started out as white with a little sponging around it. It was just a little too bright so I attacked it with some pretty in pink and filled in as much as the white as I could! I popped up the scripture and added some purdy organdy and satin ribbon for a little sophistication at the bottom :) Pink and brown...what's not to like ;P

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs - Psalm 23, Artful Inkables - Butterfly Blessings
Paper: Papertrey White, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Versa Mark, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Embossing Powder, Sponges, Aqua Painter, Ribbon, Brads, Dimensionals
