CDS Sneak Peek - Charlie Snowhorse

It's that fun time of the month again where I get to show you all the creations that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks! I am still here in Maui and posting a card with the opposite weather of here! Meet Charlie Snowhorse! He is one of this months Clear Dollar Stamps releases and one of many in a flourishing line of Charlie character stamps!

Everybody loves a snowman, so how about an adorable snowhorse? lol This one comes dressed to the nines in his stylish cashmere scarf :) CDS issued the DT a challenge of a glitter and sketch challenge and this card meets the requirements of both - you should see this baby shine! Charlie is all paper toled and popped up, and the snow (liquid applique) has been coated with a fine transparent glitter before it was allowed to dry.

This card seems to shine everywhere. The matting was coated with Stickles and the gel pen snow was topped off with a Stardust Gell Pen. One of my favourite ways to add some texture to a card is to run some patterned paper through my cuttlebug. In this case I also distressed it with some sandpaper to bring out the white undertones to make the embossed snowflakes stand out! I added a snowflake charm that I purchased from Artful INKables as the finishing touch with some navy Organza Ribbon.

Card Recipe:
