Brrrr...

It's starting to feel this way now...well, I might be exaggerating a little bit! You can definitely feel the start of fall in the air now though! This is a soon to be released set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Country Barn. It is a set of one, but can be made to make a beautiful country scene for any season that you so desire :) Some wonderful examples of this are over on Laurie Wilson's blog Clearly Delightful. Feel free to pop on over to take a peek!

This card is heavy with layers and mounds of liquid Applique "snow". All of the elements to the picturesque scene have been popped up on dimensionals at least once! The roof of the barn has been paper pieced with prism metallic aluminum card stock for a wonderful shimmer. I have also highlighted areas that I would think glisten with ice or frost with my Gelly Roll Clear Glitter Pen (I LOVE this thing!!)

I wish that you could all see this card in real life - its so soft and shimmery :)

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps - Country Barn (available Sept 1/08)
Paper: Papertrey White, Prism, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand, Watercolour, K&Co. DP
Ink: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Versa Mark, Baja Breeze, SU Markers
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug, Dimensionals, Liquid Applique, Aqua Painter, Sponges, Hodgepodge Hardware, Taffeta Ribbon, Gelly Roll Glitter Pen, 2 Way Glue Pen
