CDS Antique Scrolls - Serenity

This was my sneak peak at Clear Dollar Stamp's new release for last night...a little delayed due to not sufficient lighting for nice pictures! (I got the stamps in the mail yesterday due to living in Canada)...I finished the card late in the evening and here it is in all it's glory! lol

This set is called Antique Scrolls and it is very versatile. I was really nice to make a pretty card without having to spend time colouring an image - not something that I am used to! I have heat embossed the white motifs with white embossing powder and then took some mellow moss ink and sponged it in the center to really bring out some of the details.

I then took the little solid flower and it's matching outline to create the next layer by stamping them in a pattern and then cutting around it. Next came the sponged circle and then more flowers individually cute and then layered. Added some stickles (of course) and then a flat backed Swarovski crystal. The crystal in my opinion just really finishes it off :)

I really wanted this card to look incredibly sophisticated without being "stuffy" lol. I added the panel under the main image and it consists of soft sky CS with vellum adhered to it and then cuttlebugged. Started quilting my card and then added the little ovals with the gemstone brads (my favourite)

Card Recipe:

Paper: Soft Sky, River Rock, Mellow Moss, Papertrey White, K&Co. DP
Ink: Soft Sky, Mellow Moss, Versa Mark, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Brads, Sewing Machine, Dimensionals, Stickles, Cuttlebug, Nestabilites, Swarovski Crystal, Small and Large Oval Punches, 1/2" Circle Punch, White Embossing Powder, Sponges
