TSG Sneak Peek - What's Up Buttercup?
Welcome back for day 2 of the There She Goes sneak peeks and today I actually have a card to show you ;) If you arrived at my blog from Jodi's then you my dears, are in the right place :) If not, then please pop by the TSG Blog and start blog hoppin' from the beginning and leave a comment for everyone along the way in order to have a chance to win the What's Up Buttercup? set that is being previewed today. I know! Cool beans, huh?
My buttercup card turned out with totally different papers than I started with and with a new sizing and different layout as well....you could say that it evolved ;) I must have cut up 15 different designer papers before I decided on these ones. Does it ever happen to you where you have this grand idea in your head and it looks a little weird when you apply it to paper? Yeah, that was me and this was the end result of trying to avoid the "weird". LOL
The buttercup was water coloured with my Tombow Markers and a water brush and then I applied Utee to the surface for the cracked glass effect. Most of the papers were run through my cuttlebug for extra texture and the vellum ruffle was created with my Martha Stewart Scallop Punch and my Scor Pal.
Now it's time to hop on over to the very talented and newly "Dirty", Lisa Henke's blog to see her stunning creation :) Thanks for coming by today!
