TSG97 - Two Days Too Slow
Hi everyone! Welcome to a new week and a new TSG challenge :) This week, fellow Trendsetter Jodi challenged us to get krafty and to some how incorporate some kraft cardstock on a card. I usually have a hard time utilizing kraft card stock even though I love it because I don't own a lot of designer paper that goes with it and it just isn't as punchy as I would like it to be ;)
For my card, I used the Good Times set and followed along with this tutorial from the deconstructingjen blog. In her video, Jen used prismacolour pencils and gamsol to do a faux charcoal look but I changed it up a bit and used a black and a white chalk pencil. It was easy and very quick...and I love how it turned out. Bonus!
So how would you like to play along with the Trendsetters? All you have to do is make a card using Kraft card stock and then upload it to the linky in this post. Have fun!
Card Recipe:
Stamps: There She Goes - Good Times
Paper: Black, Kraft, My Mind's Eye DP
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Ranger Distress Vintage Photo
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug and Embossing Folders, Corner Chomper, Chalk Pencils, Buttons, Linen Thread, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Sponges
This is lovely Kim.
