Sweet Things

Hi everyone! I got some new stamps in the mail yesterday from Stamper's Dream and had a bit of time to get inky so I get to bring you this fun card using some Impression Obsession stamps :D I used the Palm Cupcake and Sweet Things stamp to participate in this week's Mojo Sketch Challenge Mojo180.

The Palm Cupcake was water coloured with tombow markers and a water brush and then cut out and popped up on my basic grey designer paper background. I added some pearls to look like the sprinkles on the stamp itself and because it's kind of an ocean themed stamps and you know...pearls come from the ocean and all ;)

Instead of ribbon in the sketch, I used some tropical-like twine and added a coordinating teal abalone shell button and the papers for the card were picked from the image itself after I coloured it in.

Thanks for coming by today and enjoy your evening of Grey's...I know that I will be :D
