Bee Mine

Happy Monday! Well it is Monday so maybe it's not all that happy for those of you who work outside the home, so this card is for you just to make you smile :D From a stay at home mamma's perspective....Monday's are very happy around here because after hearing my kids fight all weekend...it's some very welcome peace and quiet ;)

I got the Beeemine Huggabug from Stamping Bella in the mail the other day and because Valentine's day is just around the corner, I decided that she needed to be front and center on my colouring list :D I have been lacking in the mojo department these last couple of days so I settled my buns at my computer and surfed around the blogosphere to find some sketches to get me motivated. This card follows the Card Patterns Sketch CP99.

Little miss Beeemine has been water coloured with some tombow markers and shaded with some chalk pencil. The green background that she sits on was water coloured first with some re-inkers and then sponged it with some Moss ink.

Just a reminder to all of you Bellarific Girls, since Emily will be having a blast at CHA this week, there will be no Bellarific Challenge on Friday. The Babes will be back in full force on Feb 4th so rest up until then because we will be putting you to work :)

Oh she is "beeriffic!" I love your coloring. Sure wish you'd come to my tiny town and teach me how to color like that. Not only color but your sewn stitches are absolutely perfect as well! Neat as a pin:)

Kim another Canadian Scrapper here and I just looooove your work. Your card today is outstanding to say the least. I just love how you added extra texture to your pattern paper with embossing. So love your use of tombo markers and would love to know how.
