Bellarific Sketch Challenge!

Hi Ladies! Happy Bellarific Friday even if I am a little late to the party! I *almost* forgot to post the card that I made for my sweet baby niece's 1st birthday - oops! That wouldn't have been good would it? :s

This week the bella's were challenged by Elaineabella to create a card using her sketch. I used the Poppy Bittybloom and followed the sketch...mostly. You see, I had this deliciously rich ribbon from CDStamps that worked perfectly with my card so I just had to add it...you understand right? After all, I couldn't just turn my head and walk away when it was begging to be used ;)

So Miss Poppy has been water coloured with my Tombow Markers and has a lightly sponged background. I did another attempt at some prisma and gamsol grass and it honestly looked better before the gamsol dried! I only realized that I should have added some darker colours after I snapped the picture. C'est la Vie!

To finish off the card, I added the yummy ribbon that I mentioned earlier and added a flower made with an MFT Die-namic and a lovely pomegranate bella bauble to set if off. I then added some sponged leaf and branch Martha Stewart punchies and you could call this card done ;)

So now that you are finished listening to my babble, are you ready for next week's challenge? It's a 1, 2, 3 challenge and that means you have to use 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 embellishments. I know that you ladies can do it so have at it and don't forget to email it to Emily by Thursday at 5:00 pm :D I can't wait to see what you all do! Now ready, set, go and you are off to the races to see all da bella's blogs for their lovely creations!

This is just beautiful! The colouring is so vivid. That's so funny - I used a rolled flower on my card for this challenge too!
