Bellarific Sketch Challenge Re-run

Re-run, re-show and a sketch recycled! As you all know, Em was at the Creativ Festival in Toronto on the weekend, which meant no Bellariffic Friday last week on Bloggabella, so we are giving Elainabella's sketch another spotlight for this week's Bellarific Challenge!

For this card I used a cute little stamp called car with tree on top. Very clever name isn't it? lol I water coloured the image with tombow markers and then popped up parts to be 3 dimensional. During the water colouring process, I accidently coloured outside of the lines with red *sucks in breath and holds back a curse word*. Sooo, that meant that I had to cover up my mistakes with some trusty gel pens on the bumper because we all know that red is lethal to our images when not put where they are supposed to go (it stains the paper). Thank goodness for the wonderful cover up ability of gel pens! :)

I added these cool little silver half pearl thing-a-ma-bobs that I found in Michaels to be the ornaments that hung on the tree and I'm actually surprised that they look so real! I'm pretty sure that it was written in the stars that they were made just to be on my card ;)

Since this is a re-run post, I had made this Christmas card to show you this week because I didn't want to re-post the card that I made for last week...but let's have a little reminder shall we?

For those of you who want to play, are you ready to hear what next week's challenge is? It's a 1, 2, 3 challenge and that means you have to use 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 embellishments. I know that you ladies can do it, so have at it and don't forget to email it to Emily by Thursday at 5:00 pm :D I can't wait to see what you all do! Now ready, set, go and you are off to the races to see all da bella's blogs for their lovely creations!

Ha Ha - I did the same thing with a card I posted yesterday. The dang red bled so I had to cut the image out and change my layout. I must say that if you hadn't told us, we would never have known your mistake - the card is once again stunning. I love the layers and it looks like the stars did align because your ornaments turned out perfectly!

I have just found your blog and I love it! It is now a daily addiction. I just signed up for your class and went right over and bought this stamp.
