CDS Sneak Peek - Frisky Kitty

Yes, it's that time again! It's sneak peek time for Clear Dollar Stamps! Today is day one of three that will have you oohing and awing over all the new goodies that will be available on May 1st including my newest stamp set, Frisky Kitty.

This sweet little fellow is one of three cat illustrations in the set and I'm thrilled to be showing it to you today. I made this kitty set, because...well, a girl can never have too many cats, can she? LOL I'm kidding! Ashlynn is the kitty lover in our house and has been begging for a pet kitty for awhile now. I personally have never owned a cat before and have some mild allergies, so this is something that I'm a tad bit hesitant about...so I created this set in honor of Ashlynn and her love for the feline variety :) I should add that she was over the moon when I showed her the stamps :)

As always this kitty was water coloured with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers and then was cut out and placed on a sponged in background that I found in my scrap pile. I love it when I find tidbits and treasures to use from there!

The papers are from October Afternoon and Imaginice and I thought that the had the perfect amount of playfulness to match the kitty. This kitty by the way is a bit cheeky and has a few goodies in the set to play with like and surprised looking bird, stray feather, thought bubble with sentiments like "tastes like chicken", fish bones and a cat nip mouse. It also has a "Here's a gift" and "From: the cat" sentiment to pair up with them because we all know how those cute kitties bring, um...lovely prezzies to us sometimes! ;) If you would like to see a photo of the complete set, please visit the Clearly iStamp blog.

That's it for today from me I'm afraid, but please come on back here on Friday to see what other creation that I have up my sleeve for you. Until then, be sure to pop by and see what the rest of our wonderful DT has created to share with you :)

I LOVE your new set, Kim! It's so darn cute! I have an allergy to cats as well, but I have found that Siamese cats don't bother me the way that other cats do. . .just putting a bug in your ear, so your darling daughter might get the cat she wants, hehe ;D

WOW!!! Kim this is sooooo fabulous! Allergy issues aside...I never thought I would be a cat person until we got our first one, she's 8 now. My daughter wanted a kitten of her own {Jordan is now 20} since our first cat prefers me. Her and I found siamese kittens online and we picked up the tiniest one a week later. Daisy is amazing and all the negative things that people said about that breed, so NOT true. Jordan's little girl is 8 months and playful, curious and I could scoop her up and eat her. LOL Now kitty number 1, she would like to eat her too! haha but for a different reason!! LOVE the set!
