This month our new Challenge Hostess (Silke Ledlow) over at Our Creative Corner challenged us to use our favourite Easter Set! A perfect challenge for the upcoming holiday :D I chose to use a very old, retired and hard to find set called Elegant Eggs. I know that it is hard to find because it took me almost a year to get my inky little fingers on this set! I absolutely adore Faberge Eggs and this set reminded me so much of them so of course, I *needed* it! - I'm pretty sure that they are the only Faberge Eggs that I will ever get to own *grin*
Earlier this year, while at CHA I had the opportunity to take a watercolouring with Tombow Markers class taught by Jerri Jimenez (Jerri Kay). She is the sweetest lady with a taste for everything elegant and her watercolouring usually stops people in their tracks! She makes an excellent enabler too - Jerri sold me on buying the entire set of Tombow's! My markers just arrived the other day from Clear Dollar Stamps and I finally had a chance to sit down and play with them...I think I'm in love!
I decided not to do any paper tole on this card and to just the the watercolouing stand out on it's own...that and the image was much too detailed for me to even think about layering! Really! It was starting to give me a headache! lol
Enough about me babbling and onto what the rest of the OCC Designers have to show you! A little birdie told me that there is a giveaway this week so you will want to link your creation back to the OCC blog :) If you upload to SCS, please use OCCC as your keywords so that we can see what you made!

Very beautiful! That egg is stunning and your watercoloring is fabulous! Did you just use regular old Tombows or is there something new out there? I have a ton of Tombows, but haven't used them in forever. I might have to try this!
