OCC Sketch Challenge - Dr. Pea Nut

The Doctor is in..that would be Dr. Pea Nut the loooovee Doctor! This adorable set is from Our Craft Lounge and he was perfect for my first sketch over at Our Creative Corner :) I love how versatile and exceptionally adorable this set is! This set comes with a few different accessories, so Dr. Pea Nut can be a few different things - in love is one of them *wink*

My kids just watched Horton Hears a Who earlier today and when I was taking pictures of this card, Ashlynn kept wanting to hold "Horton" because he had a pretty heart on him :)

Notice that heart cardstock punchy that my daughter loves so much? I sponged the poor thing into submission and then coated it with a really thick layer of Crystal Effects :) I'm beginning to think that everyone should own some crystal effects...how would I function without it?...or my cuttlebug, nestabilities, aqua painter, sewing machine...well everything crafty that I own! What can I say? I need everything :)

This card definitely took on a mind of it's own. I started out playing with some pink shades of K&Co. designer papers but my new My Mind's Eye papers were just sitting there all by their lonesomes. They magically attached themselves to my card and that was the end of the pink DP's! lol

I heard through the grapevine that Our Creative Corner is offering up some yummy blog candy this weekend! You will want to stop by the check that out for sure and while your there take a peek at all the eye candy that the OCC girls have posted!

I was thrilled when Iwent into Archiver's and saw some familiar looking stamps. Then I noticed Dr. Peanut was not in at Archivers. I fell in love with him when I saw YOUR card. The other elephant stamp was there but first I plan to buy Dr. Peanut.

WOW! This is amazing! I love how you use your Crystal Effects. I've been using mine alot lately too, but I love how you have used several layers. Need to try that.

I also love how you popped up his head. I have this set sitting out to use next. Great inspiration!!
