Pat the Good Dog

This little dog makes me giggle! A little while ago I was asked to make up some samples for a brand new stamp company called Our Craft Lounge. The company is a combination of the brilliant stamping minds of Cambria Turnbow and Joy Kennedy. I was tickled when Cambria emailed me to ask me to help out - I didn't even think she knew that I even existed! lol

Needless to say, she didn't have to ask me twice! *grin* The set that I picked out is called Dr. Pea Nut and when the stamps arrived in the mail there was a bonus set of Pat the Good Dog! Wasn't that sweet of the girls? I finally got a chance to play with these cutie stamps and I am in love! The packaging alone is worth a mention. These clever girls have their stamps on day timer sized laminated light light weight card board with holes punched on the side to place directly into a binder with the stamps right there on the back! I was so impressed that not only are they fabulous designs and stamps, but they come with their own storage idea!

Here is a close up of my grinning dog. He is popped up on dimensionals and has been watercoloured with Stampin' Up! re-inkers and an aqua painter :) I added an animal foot print charm to the ribbon with some hemp twine and the fence is a Martha Stewart Paper Punch. I had a lot of fun creating this card and now I can't wait to get my Dr. Pea Nut set all inky! Stay tuned for one of those creations *wink*

Just found your blog and wanted to let you know that you are already one of my favorites. I looked at all your old posts and love your ideas and all the detail. I don't have a blog and really don't know how to go about setting one up, but this would be how I would like it ;-)
