What a great day!

So, I have to tell every one about THE most fabulous day a couple of weeks ago. Travel back in time with me won't you? Let's start the day with me enjoying one wonderfully relaxing cup of coffee while reading some blogs when I hear the phone ring. I pick up the phone only to hear the sweet sound of a very nice woman who works in the Human Resources department at BC Ferries. She was calling the house to tell my husband that he has been rewarded a regular full time position that he had been working towards for 10 years!!! I nearly fell off my chair and dumped my coffee, because I was so excited. Bill and I have been together for 9 years and have lived with him working on call for all nine of those years (full time hours, just last minute phone calls to go into work) After not having to be able to plan anything in advance for our entire relationship, you can imagine how excited I was!

Fast forward to me finally regaining my composure (about 15 long and joyous moments later)...I went back to checking my email and I opened one up from none other than one of my biggest stamping inspirations...Anna Wight! Sweet Miss Daisy herself was emailing me to see if I would consider being one of the new Whipper Snapper Featured Designers! I seriously thought I was going to hyperventilate!!!

I quickly emailed Anna back and accepted and couldn't wait to see who else would be joining us in taking some of her new sets for a test drive. Ummm....does anyone ever say "No"? lol This story leads me to today where I finally got to tell you all about my fabulous day and show you some of Anna's new sets!

Today is the release of 2 new sets from Whipper Snapper Designs. This sweet little sheep is from one of Anna's Christmas sets called Cozy Critters. When I got this set in the mail, I actually squealed in delight! This set is so darn adorable :)

Isn't this guy adorable? I cut him out and popped him up to make him 3D. I added some stardust gelly roll pen to highlight his bell and glitzed up the matting on the card with some candy cane stickles. 'Tis the season to start making my Christmas cards!

Of course now that I talked your eyeballs off about me getting to be one of the Whipper Snapper Designers, I should probably tell you about the other lucky ladies that I get to work with :) Here is the link to their blogs so that you can see all their wonderful creations!
