Yonder Star...

This is my failed attempt at today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge (LSC189 ) Rock, Paper, Scissors. The challenge was to use gems or metals including metallic papers and decorative scissors only. I achieved the metallic papers and gems no problem....but couldn't be restrained from using my precious cuttlebug- therefore I forfeit in today's challenge :)

I tried!...The super power of the glowing green cuttlebug was silently calling my name from across the room and casting it's magical glint on my nestabilities. And then there was my punch drawer nudging my shin....and I couldn't leave out my poor sewing machine. I did use my metal fold 'em template if that counts as bonus points!!! - Yeah, I didn't think so! lol

I utilized the beautiful star from my We Three Kings ODBD set and embossed it with silver right onto my silver prism metallic card stock. I then cut it out and popped it up in the center of my fold 'em template star motif. This card doesn't have as many layers as I usually use, but I wanted to keep the colour scheme to vanilla and silver and add some elegance with a fancy design :)

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs - We Three Kings
Paper: Papertrey White, Bazzil Bling, Unknown DP, Prism Metallics CD (ODBD)
Ink: Versa Mark, Sahara Sand, Basic Grey
Accessories: Tafetta Ribbon, Rhinestone Brads, Fold 'em Template, Craft Knife, Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Dimensionals, Sponges, Embossing Powder, Swarovski Crystal

I too saw this on SCS and was blown away by the beauty of it. It looked like it was very hard to make. I am dying to know how you did the folding part. DStanton, Springfield, OH

Drop dead gorgeous! Can you share with us exactly what a fold-em template is? Or where we can find them? Thanks so much.
