FS87 Love Stampin with Reason for the Season

I had some time to stamp after getting back from a bridal shower for my future sister in law, Erin and found the Featured Stamper of the Week to be"Love Stampin". This is the card that was my inspiration. The rules for playing along with FS87 are that you are to change 3 things when CASE'ing her card. I changed the shape, colours and amount of layers as well as added the cracked glass technique to the main image.

With the main image, I actually coloured it differently than I normally do...I broke out the Prisma pencil crayons and Gamsol! I was inspired to do this while checking out a major inspirations Anna Wight's blog. She had made this card by colouring on a Kraft Card Stock Background instead of a traditional white one. Now, I have to admit that it has been quite awhile since I used my prisma's so I think that I need just a wee bit more practice before I can achieve Anna's perfection!!! Maybe I should follow Anna's tutorial next time!

I used my brand new release called Reason for the Season from Our Daily Bread Designs to feature in the center of my inspired card :)

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs - Reason for the Season
Paper: Papertrey White, Kraft, Basic Black, Unknown Designer Papers
Ink: Stazon, Versa Mark, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Embossing Powder, Prismas, Gamsol, Blending Stumps, Charm, Organdy Ribbon, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Sponges, Dimensionals

Beautifully done. I have a hard time with 'cracked glass', but yours is stunning with the way you painted and layered.
