Our Daily Bread Designs Sneak Peek - Reason for the Season
This is one of the many news sets to be released by Our Daily Bread Designs on October 1st :) It's called Reason for the Season and it screams to be paper toled...(well in my head it did anyway :) lol I made this card for last week's Splitcoast Sketch Challenge SC195.
I was trying to go with a "sophisticated manger" theme if there ever is such a thing! I really wanted this card to have somewhat of a relic feeling with very earthy tones to stick with the image and the time frame of the image. Notice the star? I...um...borrowed it from another soon to be released set ;) What's a manger scene without a star? lol
I tied raffia between two Hodgepodge Hardware thingamabobs (that is the technical term, I'm sure of it!) and you need to visualize here...it's supposed to look like hay. All in all I'm not sure that I achieved the look that I wanted for my card, but I will take what I can get ;)
