Where I dream to be (IC141) and the Blog Candy Winner!

I found some time yesterday to partake in this week's Inspiration Challenge (IC141) over at Splitcoast, and this is what I came up with :)

I want to be wearing this....

On this Island :)

First of all, I want to FIT into the bathing suit that I chose from the inspiration challenge and then I want to be on this secluded island with a tropical beverage while shading myself by this tiki hut! I always say that it's good to have dreams :)

This Paradise Island set was just recently released from Artful INKables on August 14th. I made the Tiki Hut 3D and created the scene around it with some sponges and markers. The two panels at the side are my sad attempt at bamboo and all the edges have been torn and dirtied up with Chocolate Chip ink and then distressed. This is my little paradise!

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Artful INKables - Paradise Island
Paper: Papertrey White, Chocolate Chip, K&Co DP, Watercolour, Creamy Caramel
Ink: Basic Black, Versa Mark, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, SU Markers, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Aqua Painter, Cloud Stencil, Sponges, Raffia, Dimensionals, Embossing Powder, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool, Sakura Gel Pen

I was away camping and I arrived home to see that I was the featured stamper for the week and it was just the best feeling ever!!! I am still trying to leave comments on everyones cards, but it's taking me a little longer than I had thought!**

Hi, Kim, from your fellow Clear Dollar dt member (until about a week ago at least!)! Visit my blog when you get a sec and see the award I issued you...obviously you don't have to play along, but I couldn't possibly have partici-pated in this myself without making YOU one of my choices! I hope we'll continue to keep in touch (I know I'll be stopping back HERE often enough!) and I'll say it again...I just LOVE your work! Have a great weekend!
