Shades of Blue

It seems as though I am a glutton for punishment when using glitter. I am, and I kid you not...COVERED in glitter (I just finished taking some out of my eyelashes)! Such beautiful shades of blues and sand, with a little bit of peridot tossed in to spice things up! lol - I broke out the glitter once again today to make this pretty card using the new Artful INKables release called Bloomin' Beauties (such a fun set to use :).

I have been so behind on my SCS challenges that I tried to combine 2 for this week as well as keeping up with some of the Dirty Girl challenges. I combined today's sketch challenge and yesterday's colour challenge (soft sky, very vanilla and river rock). Of course while picking out these pretty colours from my stash of cardstock, I just had to play around with some of my new glitters. (I pounced on them when they came into my local stamp store and literally started to stock pile my mounds of colours while poor Victoria was still trying to inventory her new stock)! lol - it's a good thing that she puts up with me and my pal Angela (Jellybean74)! lol

Card Recipe:

Stamps: Artful INKables - Bloomin' Beauties
Paper: Papertrey White, River Rock, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla, My Mind's Eye DP and K&CO DP
Ink: Basic Black, Versa Mark, Soft Sky, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Glitter, Ribbon, Hodgepodge Hardware, Photo Corner Punch, Quikie Glue Pen, Dimensionals

I love your card! I can understand the glitter mess too! That stuff sticks to everything and it is impossible to clean up! Haha! Your card is gorgeous though and I don't think you used too much!
