Artful INKables July Release - Plant Prints

Well, here it is...my first Design Team card using my new Artful INKables stamps :) Since Michelle Zindorf is one of my stamping "hero's", I decided to try and follow one of her tutorials.
I first stamped the Plant Prints with Versa Mark and Basic Black together, then heat embossed. I then brayered the colours on from lightest to darkest...only, my card did not look like an wonderful Zindorf creation!! - Out come the magic of glass micro beads! lol

I stuck the sticky strip to my image and covered it with my magical, error disguising micro beads and....voila! It now looks like and image covered in micro beads :) hehehe
I really love the feeling of this and it helps to dress up a card. The designer paper under the main image was run through my cuttlebug and then sponged to add more dimension. I addes some brads and a little grosgrain ribbon and the card was done :)

Before I end this post, I would like to mention that Kristin is offering a 10% off sale for the entire month of July !!!!- Please do not forget to enter this coupon code 10%AIJUL

That is a beautiful card. What did you use to adhere the micro beads with. I am not a bead person, glitter nor the flock for all the added mess I get into with it.

Beautiful!! It's gorgeous. I think the micro-beads adds a beautiful touch. I saw the card at our yahoo group and thought it was stunning. I couldn't put my finger on what made it so fabulous...after reading your post I know it was the beads. I think it was the beads and inking that made the difference. Great job!
