Wanna Snuggle?

Who wouldn't want to snuggle this cutie patootie? I am so in love with these sets! I used the two new releases from Whipper Snapper Designs to create sweet card. The fun loving dog is from Cozy Critters and the adorable sentiment is from Winter Schminter :)



I needed a little layout inspiration so I was checking out some of my stamping friend's galleries and ended up borrowing Amy Sheffer's (Pickletree) layout from this card :) Amy has a wonderful way of putting together her cards with lots of detail without looking over cluttered, which is what I needed for this 4 1/14" card.

Did I tell you that I get to meet Amy? No? I am going to CHA in California at the end of January and she will be there along with soooo many of my other stamping friends! I am so unbelievably excited, I can hardly contain myself!!! No husband, no kids...money in my pocket with a credit card for back up and four days spent shopping and crafting with friends - what's not to be excited about? lol



Anyhoo, back to the deets on this card. Most of the papers have a shimmer to them including the designer papers by Autumn Leaves. I watercoloured the pup and popped him up to make him "come to life". I ended up sponging around all the edges with some Chocolate Chip ink to create some more continuity between the colours. I wrestled with the idea of putting a coating of stickles on this card, but managed to step away from the sparkle drawer long enough to take these pictures *wink*
